Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AtlasStreak ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the AtlasStreak app (the "App"). AtlasStreak is operated by Tavis Gritton, based in the United Kingdom, who is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

Our Approach: Offline-First

AtlasStreak is built offline-first. Your workouts, exercises, habits, and progress are stored locally on your device and remain fully usable without an internet connection. When you sign in, your data is synced to our cloud so you can back it up and access it across devices.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account details — when you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and, depending on your choices, your email address and name.
  • Training & habit data — workouts, exercises, sets, personal records, plans, habits, notes, and body-weight entries you log.
  • Progress photos — if you choose to add them; these are stored privately in your account.
  • Atlas coach conversations — messages you send to the in-app AI coach, used to generate responses and improve your experience.

Apple Health (with your permission)

If you enable it, the App reads selected data from Apple Health — such as steps, sleep, workouts, active energy, body weight, heart-rate variability, and resting heart rate — to auto-complete habits, sync body weight, and estimate recovery and readiness. The App can also write workouts and body-weight entries back to Apple Health. Health data is used on your device and within your own account; we do not sell it or use it for advertising.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage & diagnostics — basic, app-level analytics and crash information to keep the App reliable.
  • Device identifiers — used for syncing and subscription management.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide core features — tracking, plans, readiness, habits, and progress;
  • To sync and back up your data across your devices;
  • To power the Atlas coach and personalized suggestions;
  • To manage subscriptions and entitlements;
  • To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the App.

Legal Bases for Processing

If you are in the UK or EEA, we rely on the following legal bases to process your data:

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the App's core features, sync your data across devices, and manage your subscription;
  • Consent — for optional features you switch on, such as Apple Health access and progress photos; you can withdraw consent at any time in the App or your device settings;
  • Legitimate interests — to keep the App secure and reliable, prevent abuse, and improve our features, balanced against your rights and freedoms;
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose information to comply with the law.

How Your Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers that help us run the App:

  • Cloud database & storage — to sync and store your account data;
  • Apple & Google — for sign-in;
  • Subscription provider — to process and validate in-app purchases;
  • AI provider — to process Atlas coach messages and return responses.

If you use social or plan-sharing features, the content and profile details you choose to share are visible to the users you share them with.

International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside the UK, including in the United States. Where your personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses — to ensure it remains protected.

Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the App, which removes your synced data from our systems. Local data is removed when you delete the App or sign out. Some records may be retained where required by law.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls or email us at the address below.

If you are in the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have not handled your personal data properly.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice in the App.
